Portia Freeman - Model

Model mummy Portia is queen of the hill - Crouch End Hill that is. And in her North London castle she dwells with King Pete (bassist for The Kooks), two princes Dylan & Rudy and royal pooch Lola. There isn't a spot north of the River that this tour wife hasn't explored with her brood. Her London below...

Name: Portia Freeman

Age: 29

Career: Model

Neighbourhood: Crouch End

Hometown: Weybridge, Surrey

Favourite breakfast spot/what you order? Greenberry in Primrose Hill. I always order the same... well done scrambled eggs with a side of well done bacon and a side of well done sausages and a side of beans. I won’t order a full English though, (don’t ask) and then loads of HP on the side! Yum!

You never leave the house without: Boring, but my phone.

Best pub/drinks spot? I’m a cosy pub kinda girl so defos has to be, The Flask in Highgate or The Red Lion and Sun also in Highgate. Cosy vibes all the way.

You are always window shopping...There’s a great antiques shop in Crouch End called Floral Hall. I always spy amazing chandeliers that I definitely do not need or a table for my kitchen that I also definitely don’t need.

Best way to spend a Saturday in the sun/in the rain in London? In the Sun, on the Heath with my boyf, our two boys and our dog, Lola. In the rain, snuggled on our sofa watching movies and drinking hot chocolate.

Best kept London secret: The gardens in Golders Hill Park. They’re so so beautifully kept and it’s so peaceful!

Best mode of London transport: My car

Best places for hair/nails/wax/tan? Hair, Harriet Muldoon at Larry King for colour and Clo & Flo for the best blowdry’s. I’m too terrified to wax and I do my nails myself.

Best weekend away from the city? We always escape to one of The Pig hotels. Recently we’ve been going to The Pig on The Beach as it’s our wedding venue.

Where do you go to grab lunch Monday-Friday: Inigo (my mates new sushi restaurant in soho) or Selfridges food hall.

Best app for the city: Waze

Best afternoon tea: Cafe Royal

Favourite London shop: Selfridges and Coco De Mer

Favourite restaurant for dinner: Hutong at The Shard, the softshell crab is next level.

Weekend wardrobe staples/office workwear staples: Weekend, Levi’s black dungarees, cashmere jumper and Converse, oh, and my gold hoops. Always wearing gold hoops. Work wear, J Brand black skinnies, Paul and Joe white blouse and Penelope Chilvers Chelsea boots.
